Position Grade
The seniority level you attach to a job, used for selection and reporting. It does not set or limit pay.
Position Category
The broad family a job belongs to, such as Direct Labour or Administration. It is the grouping the accounting side of payroll posts by.
Position
The job itself, not the person in it. The position carries the pay structure and the appraisal form that everyone holding that job is paid and judged on.

Station
The named place a person is posted to, used on the employee record and on attendance requests.
Facility
A facility or amenity an employee is given, such as transport, a locker or a SIM, with the number that identifies the one they were given.
Employee Type
The kind of employment somebody is on, such as permanent, contract, probation or apprentice.
Employee Action Type
The kinds of change that can be made to an employee, what each one changes, and the paperwork HR must hold before it is final.
Date Type
The kinds of date you want to keep against an employee, and which of them the system treats as a known milestone.
Identification Type
The kinds of identity document you hold against an employee, and the rules each one is checked against.
Identification Authority
The bodies that issue identity documents, such as NADRA or the passport office.
Education Level
The tiers of education you compare people by, such as matriculation, bachelors or masters.

The qualifications themselves, such as BSc Mechanical Engineering or MBA Finance.
Institution
The universities, boards and colleges that award qualifications, with how to contact them for verification.
Certification Group
The families certifications are sorted into, such as safety, quality or technical.

Skill Rating
The scale you rate ability on, for example beginner to expert, with a level and a weight for each step.
Screening Type
The kinds of screening you carry out, and how often each kind comes round.
